My Passion
While at Howard University I was given the opportunity to combine my zeal for education and helping others by becoming a math tutor. Not only did I tutor my fellow peers but also students in the Washington, D.C. community. Having that moment when a student tells me that she earned her first “A” on an assignment is worthwhile. Knowing that my skills can assist someone else in achieving their goals is simply an amazing feeling and through the use of technology more individuals can benefit from my skills.

ONEUF.com
Collaborated with a team of graduate students at the University of Florida to enhance the user experience of the university’s website by creating a notification center through user studies and implementation of a new design. Throughout this process we conducted focus groups, used an affinity diagram to organize results, created user personas, scenarios, and storyboards. We also created a user workflow model through the use of wireframes for both mobile and desktop versions, along with low and high fidelity prototypes that were used for moderated user testing.
SavingSense
Collaborated with a team of graduate students at the University of Florida to design, develop, and evaluate an iOS application focused towards graduate students to become increasingly interested in their finances. Collected data using focus groups, the SUS survey, Financial Self-Efficacy Scale survey, and moderated usability tests. Also developed low and high fidelity prototypes before creating the final application.
